lordkez Drops Debut Album, ‘Testament’.

lordkez has finally released her much anticipated debut album, ‘Testament’. She also shared visuals for a single off of the project, ‘Enthralled’ featuring American rapper, Bas. The 12-song project includes contributions from Shekinah, Bas, Mars Baby, Tyler Linkman and Jelani Blackman. lordkez told Apple Music that this body of work is a result a dark period that she was going through which led to her embarking on a search for light. “I wanted to pay homage to my roots and religion because its something I have not spoken a lot about.” lordkez has successfully intensified anticipation for her now new project through her intriguing rollouts over the past few weeks. She dropped two lead singles; ‘Holy Matrimony’, as well as ‘Flowers’ featuring Mars Baby along with its visuals. Earlier this week, the endowed singer-songwriter announced the now new music video for her single, ‘Enthralled’ by sharing a teaser. Stormzy to headline Rocking the Daisies 2023

British rapper Stormzy will headline the 2023 edition of Rocking the Daisies. The country’s biggest music and lifestyle festival has teamed up with headline sponsor Johnnie Walker once again to give fans a taste of local and international talent from 6-8 October 2023 at Cloof Wine Estate, Cape Town and 8 October at SuperSport Park, Johannesburg. Universally beloved grime and hip-hop mogul Stormzy who has headlined major festivals worldwide such as Rolling Loud, Glastonbury and Coachella, will be coming to South Africa for the first time. His third album titled This is what I mean, was released in November 2022 with guests vocalists including Sampha, Jacob Collier, Arya Star and Nao.
